Join us: 10am Sundays

Join us this week

Everyone is welcome - we’d love to meet you!

Every week is someone’s first time at Marsfield Community Church – and we love welcoming new people to gather with us on Sunday! Whether you’re new to church, grew up in a church or are still thinking things through, we’d love for you to join us on a Sunday as we find out more about our God and the great things he’s done through Jesus.

We meet every Sunday at 10am with a kid’s program from preschool up to high school.

Sundays: 10am
58-60 Agincourt Road, Marsfield

WELCOME ALONG

10am Gathering

The 10am gathering is an authentic celebration of Jesus every week. We have solid Bible teaching, uplifting songs and welcoming community. Kids from preschool to year 12 years old enjoy their own kid’s program, with lots of fun and learning about the God who loves them. Everyone is welcome as we share the love and joy of Jesus.

What to expect when you come to church

Before the service

There’s ample parking on-site. As you come through the gates and head toward the building, you will be warmly greeted by our Welcome Team. If you have children, they can introduce you to one of our kid’s church leaders. Kids start in church before heading out to their program so bring them inside with you and find a seat.

Also, don’t stress if you’re running late.

During the service

During the service, we sing to God, we pray and read the Bible. A highlight of each week is a sermon that helps us think about how the timeless truths of the Bible apply to us today.

Don’t worry if any of this is unfamiliar to you. Just come as you are. You won’t be pressured in any way.

After the service

After the service, please hang around for a cuppa. We’ve got a light morning tea that will keep the kids pleased while you enjoy our rich community life. Once a month we eat lunch together after church. This is open to everyone at church, free of charge.

Kids and Families

Children start in our service with adults. We start by singing some songs together, hear an engaging kid’s talk or meet someone from the congregation. Then kids will be invited to head off to their programs.

If it is your child’s first time, you can accompany them outside. One of the kid’s church team will help you find where to go and make sure your kids are settled.

 Common Questions

  • Church services normally go for 1 hr 15 mins.

  • Just bring yourself! If you have a Bible, you might like to bring it along, but it’s not necessary. If you have kids, you might want to bring a drink bottle and hat for them to have in kids church too.

  • We have ample on-site parking. There’s also plenty of street parking on Agincourt Rd.

  • Dress comfortably! There is no need to dress up. Most people wear what they’d wear to a movie or a cafe.

  • No, you can watch without doing anything. You won’t be pressured or judged, and you’re free to observe and listen.

  • We have programs for kids from Preschool up to year 12. When you visit, someone will explain how the kid's program works and where to go. But if your kids are nervous about leaving mum and dad, that’s ok too. They are welcome to sit in the service with you.

  • Definitely. In fact, we think that’s a great thing to do. We don’t expect everyone at church to be on board with everything we say and do. But we would love the opportunity to share Jesus with you and hear your thoughts.
